Accused drunken driver arrested after collision
Palos Heights police arrested Mark D. Gordon, 24, of Chicago, at 8:16 p.m. Dec. 18 and charged him with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said. Gordon allegedly rear ended a vehicle stopped at a traffic light in the 12100 block of South Ridgeland Avenue, according to the police report. His court date is Jan. 14 at the Cook County 5th District Municipal Courthouse in Bridgeview.
In other Palos Heights police news, Quitin C. Whitaker, 33, of Munster, Ind., was arrested at 4:28 a.m. Dec. 20 and charged with DUI and illegal parking on roadway, police said. Whitaker was found parked on the roadway in the 7100 block of 127th Street, according to the police report. His court date is Jan. 6 in Bridgeview.
Pawel D. Chmura, 28, of Oak Lawn, was arrested at 4:13 a.m Dec. 18 and charged with DUI, improper lane usage and improper lighting after he was stopped in the 12600 block of South Harlem Avenue for driving without headlights, police said. His court date is Jan. 14 in Bridgeview.
Anthony Misura, 24, of Tinley Park, was arrested at 12:25 a.m. Dec. 16 and charged with DUI and red light violation after he was stopped in the 7300 block of West 131st Street, police said. His court date is Jan. 14 in Bridgeview.
Michael C. Monnier, 19, of Palos Heights, was arrested at 2:22 a.m. Dec. 19 and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and illegal screeching of tires after he was stopped in the 7300 block of West College Drive, police said. His court date is Jan. 14 in Bridgeview.
Megan C. Danielczyk, 26, of Crestwood, was arrested at 8:41 p.m. Dec. 19 and charged with driving with a suspended license and suspended registration after she was stopped in the 6300 block of West 135th Street, police said. Her court date is Jan. 14 in Bridgeview.
Wade H. Howe, 46, of Crest-wood, was arrested at 3:41 p.m. Dec. 14 and charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to yield turning left after he was stopped in the 6600 block of West 127th Street, police said. His court date is Jan. 14 in Bridgeview.
Dwight Green, 57, of Robbins, was arrested at 5:45 a.m. Dec. 20 and charged with driving with a revoked license, no insurance and only one headlight after he was stopped in the 7300 block of West College Drive, police said.
