John Keporos, 92, of Treasure Island, Fla., formerly of

Chicago, passed away February 7.

He started his career in the automobile industry as the

owner of Airway Lincoln Mercury in Chicago. He was actively involved at his

church, Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church serving as president of the church

board for three years.

John is survived by his loving wife Carol Keporos, three

children and three step-children; George (Laura), Cleo (Dan), Patricia;

Jennifer, Mark, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

(Elizabeth) Majka and Jeremy Aaron Majka; dear grandfather of Dorothy Louise

Majka, Alexander James Majka, Henry Rhys Majka and Gabrielle Adora Majka;

cherished son of the late Irene (nee Galarowicz) and the late Anthony Majka;

fond brother of James (Kathy) Majka. Also survived by relatives and friends.

He was a special education teacher for 30 years in Chicago

cherished son of the late Ruby (nee Adkins) and the late Charles McDaniel; fond

He was a member of CRSAC Club.

Mendoza, as well as a caring and amazing grandfather to his five grandchildren,
