Wife of the late John Cusick; survived by her children, Sharon (Alex) Oles, John, and Charles. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Stephanie, Samantha, Chelsea, Charlie, William, Cassandra and Jason and her great-grandchildren Angelica, Arianna, Jasmine, Erick Jr, Carlos and great-great-granddaughter Layla. Shirley was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 271, the South Suburban 8 & 40, American Legion Auxiliary 1st District and many years as Secretary for Brighton Kelly Baseball.

Joanne L. Wilhelmy (nee Zigas), age 84, of Chicago, Clearing community, passed away peacefully June 20 after a short illness.

Loving mother to the late Paulette Wilhelmy and Steven; dear grandmother to Lindsay and Dana Conlisk; cherished sister to the late Jack (Donna) Zigas; mother-in-law to Kevin Conlisk and devoted aunt to Pam and Deb. She will be missed by her numerous cousins and many treasured friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, daughter Paulette, brother Jack and her sister-in-law Frances (Wilhelmy) and her husband Richard Mysker.

Visitation was held at St. Rene Church, 6949 W 63rd Place June 25. A funeral mass was celebrated at the church immediately following the visitation. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Foran Funeral Home.
