Joaquin Almaguer, 86, of Chicago’s Garfield Ridge community, passed away August 25.
Beloved husband of 56 years to Irma (nee Teniente); loving father of Irma (Domingo) Martinez, Jackie Almaguer, Alma Almaguer-Luna, Elsa Almaguer, Gracie (Jose) Garza and Jack Almaguer; proud grandfather of Andrea, Michael, Adam, Irma, Mauricio, Mia and Isabella; great grandfather of Emilio.
Visitation was held August 30 at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. in Summit. Visitation was held August 31 at the funeral home. Procession from the funeral home to St. Daniel the Prophet Church for Mass.
JON TERRY CRAIG SR.
Jon Terry Craig Sr. passed away peacefully August 25 surrounded by his family and loved ones.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Raquel Craig, Victoria Craig, Joñet Craig and Jon Terry Craig Jr. Proud grandfather of Jelina, Santino, Aiyana and “little guy” Ezzy; dear son of Iris Craig and the late James Craig; loved brother of James “Jim Boy” Craig, Richard Craig and Susan Velasquez. He will be dearly remembered by his former wife, Beatrice Cisneros and his current partner, Joan “Bunny” Cameron. A dear uncle and a treasured friend to many.

Dolores Dorothy Prochot, of Chicago’s Clearing community, passed away August 30, surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife of the late Frank, devoted mom to Michael and Sharon, Lary and Sandy, Laura and Michael Harvey and Kathy Prochot; proud grandmother of Christopher, Frank and Amy, Matthew and Katie and Laura Marie; surprised and pretty thrilled great-grandmother to George; auntie to many nieces and nephews, confidant and counselor to many cousins, friends and neighbors. Leaving behind many friends at Rosary Hill Home in Justice.
