
Elsie A. Hafner Pichman
Elsie A. Hafner Pichman, 98, passed away of natural causes peacefully on August 10, 2021.
She is now together again with her beloved husband of 72 years, Larry Pichman who preceded her in death.
Elsie was born to Valentine and Amalia Hafner.
Elsie was a loving and devoted mother of Valarie Bryant, Ginger Peterman, Vicki (Doug) Croall, and Vanetta (Fred) Wiegman. A treasured Mema/Grandma of Ali Levinson, Carrie (Gabe) Westberg, Jason (Sarah) Wiegman, Christopher (Amy) Peterman, Amalia “Amy” Wiegman, Caitlin (Gbenga) Aleru, Matthew Peterman, and Kelsey Croall, Great Grandmother of Anna, Rebecca, Fern, Camden, Alexandria, Ava, and Kemi. Aunt of a niece and nephews.
She will be missed by her family and her many friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021, at 9 a.m. until Mass at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church, 10731 W. 131st St., Orland Park.
The Committal and Inurnment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood. Guests will meet at 1 p.m. at the Cemetery Public Administration Center. For information, call 815-423-9958. The service will start promptly at 1:30 p.m.
