Kip Leon Anderson, 53, of Chicago’s Garfield Ridge community, passed away September 16.

Beloved husband of Christine (nee Belair); loving and devoted father of Emily and Stella; cherished son of James and Marjorie (nee Buesking) Anderson and dear son-in-law of Elaine (the late Richard Sr.) Belair; fond brother of Scott (Jenny) Anderson, Andrea (Ken) Steury and Brett (Nancy) Anderson; loved brother-in-law of Lynn (James) Rozhon and Richard Jr. (Michelle) Belair. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann Kash, 91, passed away peacefully September 9 at home surrounded with family.

Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Thomas J. Kash; loving mom of Thomas, Nancy (Ron) Gray, Karen (Wayne) Moore, Raymond (Debra) and the late Steven; cherished grandma of Alicia (Shawn) Freeman, Jacob and Nicholas; dear daughter of the late Anthony and the late Anna “Busia”; dear sister of the late Ted (late Betty) Mezydlo; dear sister in law of Bernard (Lorraine) Kash, late Rev. Robert Kash and the late Theresa Kash. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Cousin and cherished friend of many.

Former employee of many years at Cook County Adult Probation Department. Member of the St. Richard CCW, Golden Agers and “In the Round.”

Josephine D. Jamrozik, 99, late of Orland Park, passed away on September 18.

She was the wife of the late Harry Jamrozik; devoted mother of JoAnn (late Donald Sr.) Torgerson, the late Cookie (Rich) Sanzeverino and John (Debbie) Jamrozik; proud grandmother of seven; dear great grandmother of 10.

Edward A. Konarski, Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Beloved husband of Christine (nee Gorzkowski), devoted son of the late Kataryna (nee Dabczak) and the late Walter Konarski; loving brother of Theresa (Ted) Kaminski and Christine (Robert) Pinkos; dear brother-in-law of Edward and the late Barbara Gorzkowski; cherished companion of his departed dog Samson; fond uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews.

EILEEN LANGE

Eileen Lange (nee Cullen), of Palos Heights, passed away surrounded by her family.

She was the loving wife of 41 years to Dennis Lange. Cherished mother of John J. Lange & Katy (Joe) Rutkoski. Adoring grandmother of Anabel, John J. Jr. and Rosaleigh. Devoted daughter of the late; John J. and Mary (nee Weber) Cullen. Dear sister of the late Noreen (Ronald) Parker. Kind aunt and cousin of many.

Eileen has been a longtime resident of Palos Heights since 1956. She was a graduate of Mother McCauley High School. She was a teacher’s aide for 17 years at School District 118, where she touched the lives of so many students, volunteer, most notably the PFA.

She was a member of the Palos Heights Garden Club, she loved her horses and furry friends, most recently was “Maggie.” She was an avid garage sale enthusiast/organizer.

Most of all, Eileen enjoyed life, being with her family and friends.

Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at Northwestern Palos Hospital and Hospice Team for their care during her stay there.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 9, from 3-8 p.m. Chapel prayers were Friday, September 10, at 11 a.m.at the Kerry Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, 7020 W. 127th St., Palos Heights proceeding to Saint Alexander Church for Mass 11:30 a.m.

Interment was private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association (https://act.alz.org/donate) and/or the American Cancer Society (https://donate3.cancer.org ) would be appreciated.

MartinezCECILIA MARTINEZ

Cecilia Martinez, 33, of Chicago’s Pilsen community, passed away September 14 surrounded by her loving family.

She was the cherished and adored daughter of Bertha and Francisco Martinez; much loved sister of Marisol, Gabriela and Javier and sweet aunt of Gael and Ibby. She will be missed by her many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held September 17 at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. in Summit. Funeral services were held September 18 at Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 3647 W. HELEN L. MCGEEHAN

Helen L. McGeehan, 91, late of Orland Park, passed away on September 15.

She was the wife of John “Jack” McGeehan; mother of Patricia (Robert) Murtagh and John McGeehan Jr.; grandmother of Kyle Murtagh, Patrick (Caitlin) Murtagh, and Katie (Matthew) Jones; great grandmother of Keegan Jones.

Visitation was on September 19 at Thornridge Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was held on September 20 at St. Michael Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

DELBERT A. PURDY

Delbert A. Purdy, 92, of Oak Lawn, passed away Sept. 9.

He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth E. nee Dietrich; loving father of Dale (Luann) and David Purdy, cherished grandfather of Elizabeth (Mathew) Underwood, David (Mary), and Paul (Jessie) Purdy; great grandfather of Emma and Ethan Purdy and Ignatius and Gertrude Underwood; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters.

He was a member of American Legion Post 146 and VFW Post 5220 and called bingo at the post. He was a supporter of the Lions Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church appreciated.

Visitation was September 14 at Kosary Funeral Home, 9837 S. Kedzie, Evergreen Park. Funeral services were held September 15 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4660 W. 94th St. in Oak Lawn. Interment Chapel Hill Garden West Cemetery.

Sue Ellen Solcani, 78, of Chicago’s Clearing community, passed away at home September 16 surrounded by her family.

Beloved wife of the late John; dear mother of Joseph (Catherine) Solcani; cherished grandmother of Paige, Jenna and Julia; fond sister of the late George (late Lynn) Ternand. Sue will be remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was a past president of St. Rene Goupil Mothers Club and vice president of St. Rene Altar and Rosary Society.

Visitation was held September 18 until time of mass at St. Rene Goupil Church, Two Holy Martyrs Parish. Interment was private on September 21 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
