Numan Aillon, 63, of Chicago’s Clearing community, passed away peacefully at home April 12, with his loving family at his side.

He was the beloved husband of Julia; loving father of Michell and Jasmine; cherished son of the late Angel and Zoila Aillon; Numan will be dearly missed by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

He was a proud Army veteran of World War II. 

He was the beloved husband of the late Hermina Mahovsky; dear brother of the late Otto Dusek and the late Anton Dusek; loving uncle of Suzanne (Arthur) McGuire; dearest friend of Jody Fritsch and Family.

Visitation was held April 19 at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. in Summit. Procession from the funeral home to St. Denis Church for a Mass of Christian burial. George was buried with Military Honors at Resurrection Cemetery.

Loving father of Louis (Jeanie) Fasullo, Josephine (Mike) Fournier and Gioacchino (Karen) Fasullo; dear grandfather of John (Danielle) Arrigo, Christina (Arrigo) Jennifer (Joe) Vittorio, Anthony (Christina) Elis, Rosie (Andrew) Dahlberg, Sal Fasullo, Gioacchino Fasullo and Abby Fasullo; dearest great grandfather of 16; former husband of Giuseppa Episcopo; fond brother of Joe Fasullo, Anna Scro, Vito Fasullo and the late Giuseppina Miceli, late Rosalia Italiano, late John Fasullo, late Enza Italiano and late Antonina Fasullo; also dearly loved by his many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held April 21 at Zarzycki Manor Chapels Ltd. a service followed.

He was a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was a member of Local 1027.

He was married for 48 years to the love of his life, Mary A. Brody; cherished son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Hyzy; treasured brother of Elizabeth (late Doyle) Ward, late Walter (Charlotte) Smajda, late Joanna Hyzy, late Natalie (late Gerald) Walsh, late Bernice Lamkin and the late Robert (Joan) Hyzy; dear brother-in-law of the late James Brody, Norine (late John) O’Shea and Thomas (Jan) Brody. Much loved godfather and uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held April 19 at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. in Summit. Visitation was held at the funeral home April 20 until time of prayers. Procession from the funeral home to St. Faustina Kowalska Parish, 5252 S. Austin Ave, Chicago for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with Military Honors at Resurrection Cemetery.

A special thank you to Hines VA Dr. Jovisa Stevlic and Joe’s nurses, Beverly and Barbara, who cared for him with compassion and respect. Once a Marine always a Marine – “Semper fi.”

Loving mother to Roman (Malgorzata) Kruzel, Danuta (Jerzy) Mendrok, Henryk (Valeria) Kruzel, Benedykt (Krystyna) Kruzel, Franciszka (Marian) Giadla and Izabella (Andrzej) Wrobel; dear grandmother to Krzysztof, Rafal, Daniel, Adrianna, Arek, Grzegorz, Mike, Randy, Nicol, Sebastian, Beata, Zaneta, Damian, Marcela, Savanna and Andrew; dearest great-grandmother of 14; cherished daughter of the late Franciszek Laciak and the late Anna Laciak; fond sister of Jan Laciak and Maria Laciak. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Georgiana H. Larson (nee Otto), 89, of Brookfield, passed away April 13.

Loving mother of the late Ron Larson; grandmother of Shannon and Brett, sister of the late Robert (the late Roberta) Otto; aunt of Gregory Otto and Bradford Otto; loving daughter of the late Edward Otto and the late Georgiana Otto (nee West); dear friend of Sandy Ronecker.

Alice G. Marciniec (nee Swierad), 90, Of Chicago’s Clearing community, passed away April 11.

She was the beloved wife for 70 years of Casimir Marciniec; cherished mother of Nancy K. Wilson, Jill Marciniec, Janet (Gary) Sylvie and the late Mark Marciniec; dear grandmother of Veronica (Donald) Vorman, Helen Wilson, Elizabeth G. Wilson, Casey LaFrentz, Mark “Ben” LaFrentz, Laura LaFrentz, Amanda (Jeff) Kuglich, Alice Sylvie and Melissa (Bill) Windt; proud great grandmother of Torren, Violet, Rosie, Will and John; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held April 18 at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. in Summit. Visitation was held April 19 at the funeral home until time of Prayers. Procession from the funeral home to Two Holy Martyrs Parish, St. Symphorosa Church for a Mass of Christian burial. Alice was laid to rest next to her son, Mark, at Resurrection Cemetery.

Beloved wife of the late Robert H. McCaig; loving mom of Robert (Cynthia) McCaig and Darlene (Michael) Long; loving nana of Erin (Mike) Grala, Michelle (Corrado) Venzon, Kyle Long, Stacy Cohn, and Nicole (Joseph) Clark; dearest great-nana of Griffin, Matthew, Evan, Rylie, Braxton, Emmett, Patrick, and Sean; cherished daughter of the late Peter and Josephine Zopelis; dear sister of Beverly (the late William) Davis, Susan Gawenda, and Peter Zopelis. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and family.

She was a retired cashier at White Hen in, Summit.

Lawrence “Larry” Morales, 63, of Chicago’s Little Village community, passed away April 11.

He was the beloved husband of Diana Rincones; cherished son of the late Benito and Virginia Morales; loving father of Alexandria Morales; dear stepfather of Daniel (Tiffany) Rincones, Elise (Eric) Cardenas and Isabel (Michael) Wukowitch. Larry loved and raised two of his grandsons, Elias and Isaiah and was loved as a grandpa by Madelyn, Lochlan, Peighton, Jackson, Henry, Christopher, Kimmie and Maddison and great grandpa to Jasmine. Much loved brother of Anthony “Gony” (Cindy) Morales, Michael (Beverly) Morales, Richard (Irene) Morales and Renae (Gerardo) Meraz. Larry will be missed dearly by his many aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews.

Larry worked for over 25 years for the Cook County Circuit Court.

Visitation was held April 20 at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. in Summit. Visitation was held at the funeral home April 21 time of Celebration of Life Service. Procession from the funeral home to St. Mary Cemetery where Larry was buried close to his father.

Francisca Nevarez, 69, passed away April 11.

Annamarie Schaffer, nee Ferriter, 64, of Evergreen Park, passed away April 14.

She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey Schaffer; loving mother of Jonathan Ferriter, Megan Schaffer, Carolyn (Mark) Hansen, Melissa Schaffer, and Christine Cristano; cherished grandmother of Jerome, Annia, Hailey, Teagan, Grace, Thomas, Ava, Camille, and Ramon; fond sister of Maureen, Therese, Patrick, Michael, and Kevin; dear daughter of the late Michael and the late Adele Ferriter; also survived by other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Brett Schiefelbein,  50, of Chicago, formerly of Hinsdale, passed away April 15. 

He was the beloved son of Allen Jr. and Joan (nee Bortman); dear brother of Chad (Kim) and Adam (Lisa Tang) Schiefelbein; loving uncle of Laken, Cole, Charlotte and Carissa.  

He attended grade school at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic School, graduated from Fenwick High School in 1990 and the University of Saint Thomas in 1994.  

Visitation was held April 22 at The Tower Home for Funerals, 4007 Joliet Road, Lyons. Funeral was held April 23 with prayers to Saint Isaac Jogues Church in Hinsdale for Mass. Interment Queen of Heaven.
