Palos Heights-based Pop’s Italian Beef & Sausage is beefing up May this year with a week-long celebration of National Italian Beef Day at each of their locations.

As part of the celebrations, Pop’s is hosting an interactive contest on their Facebook page during the week of National Italian Beef Day from Monday, May 23, through Friday, May 27. Each day of the week, Pop’s will post a giveaway opportunity for their social media followers to enter. Prizes will range from free menu items, a jumbo jar of Pop’s classic giardiniera topping, Pop’s swag and a free meal on Pop’s. To enter each contest, all customers need to do is like and follow @popsbeef on Facebook and comment a friend that they would share a Pop’s meal with.

“We want to give a big thank you to our loyal customers for supporting us and our signature Italian beef sandwiches over the years,” said Kacie Radochonski, director of operations for Pop’s Italian Beef & Sausage. “This year we wanted to do something unique by encouraging our fans to get involved on social for a chance to win some great Pop’s gifts. We can’t wait to kick off this week of celebrations and give back to our loyal fans.”

The winners of each giveaway will be announced the following week on Tuesday, May 31. Winners will be contacted directly on Facebook by the official Pop’s Italian Beef & Sausage account, @popsbeef to coordinate receiving their prize.

Pop’s Italian Beef & Sausage is known for their commitment to high quality menu items and impeccable service. The signature Italian beef and sausage sandwiches are topped with your choice of our homemade Giardiniera or cooked sweet peppers made in house. There’s only two words to describe ALL the food at Pop’s, “YUM YUM”. I’ll tried about everything on the menu and have been going to the Palos llocation for over 25+ years. Great customer service along with the food. Lisa is one of the greatest asset of the business.
