Early voting now open
Several Southwest Side sites available

Although the next primary election is set for Tuesday, June 28, early voting has started.
Voters may cast ballots at the Chicago Board of Elections’ “supersite” at 191 N. Clark. It is open now until election day, and its hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
From now until June 24, the supersite’s hours will be extended to 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Early voting in each city ward began on June 13 and runs through June 28.
Each ward will have one early voting site. On the Southwest Side: those sites are:
- McKinley Park Branch Library, 1915 W. 35th St.
- West Lawn Park, 4233 W. 65th St.
- Archer Heights Branch Library, 5055 S. Archer.
- Gage Park, 2411 W. 55th St.
- Wrightwood Ashburn Branch Library, 8530 S. Kedzie.
- Clearing Branch Library, 6423 W. 63rd Place.
All voters in Chicago may vote at the supersite or at any ward-based site, no matter where they live in the city.
Voter registration services (new voters, name changes and address updates) will be provided at all early voting sites. Two forms of ID, one of which shows the voter’s current address, are needed to register for the first time or to file a name change or an address update.
Any ballots that voters cast in early voting are final. After casting ballots in early voting, voters may not return to amend, change or undo a ballot for any reason.
Voters who want a sample ballot may obtain one by visiting chicagoelections.gov/en/your-voter-information.
