Gaelic football tournament coming to Gaelic Park.
Gaelic Park to host Continental Youth Championships
The Chicago Gaelic Athletic Association will host the 2022 Continental Youth Championships at Gaelic Park this July 28-31.
The CYC is an annual tournament that rotates cities and features hundreds of Gaelic football, hurling, and camogie games. Over 1,500 youth players representing 22 clubs from all over the United States as well as Canada will participate in this year’s CYC.
Gaelic Park’s mission is to preserve and promote the culture and heritage of Ireland. Chicago CYC 2022 is that mission in action as the youth players participate in the traditional games of Ireland and welcome all to attend the tournament at Gaelic Park.
Admission is $10 on Friday and Saturday. Merchandise, food, and beverages will be available for purchase. Parking is plentiful and free.
Chicago Gaelic Park is located at 6119 W. 147th Street in Oak Forest.
