Imperial Oaks Brewing Tour
Palos Park Library cardholders can take a guided tour of the Imperial Oaks Brewing in Willow Springs from noon to 12:40 p.m. Saturday, August 20. The tour includes samples of standard, sour beers, and barrel aged beers. At the end of the tour, participants will get a full pint pour and a pint glass to take home. Adult program only. Must be 21 and over to register. For Palos Park Public Library Cardholders only. Cash payments only.
Game On! Super Smash Bros
Tweens can come in for an hour of fun playing Super Smash Bros with others from 3-4 p.m. Saturday, August 20. We will be playing 8-player free for all battles.
Read to a Dog
This program helps children in grades 1st and up build confidence by reading aloud to a therapy dog. We have partnered up with dogs from The Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. Children will have a designated time slot of 15 minutes to read to a special furry friend from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 22. Bring a book or get one at the library. Once assigned a session, please arrive promptly to start reading. If you cannot make the session allotted to you, please call us to reschedule. Please call the library to set up your time slot.
Gentle Yoga (Virtual)
Gentle Flow Yoga is geared specifically for those new to yoga or those who are interested in a gentle practice. This class from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. Modifications will be shown. Participants will need to be able to get up and down from the floor for this class.

Spanish 102 (Virtual)
A Spanish speaking staff member will teach speaking, grammar, and conversation from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, August 27. All ages welcome. This is a continuation of the Spanish 101 class. Register online to be sent a Zoom invitation the day before.
From Vine to Pizza
Children will assemble their own take home pizza from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, August 27. Vegetables and herbs will be harvested from our own children’s garden. For ages 6-9.
