Police make gun bust
A 20-year-old man was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after he was arrested in front of 5930 S. Kedzie by CPD Unit 862A at 3:19 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6.
David Banda was reportedly observed walking south on Kedzie while clutching onto his waistband area, a CPD spokesman said.

As police officers approached, Banda allegedly fled on foot but was apprehend by officers without incident.
In a tweet that showed the weapon reportedly recovered, CPD described Banda as a known gang member.
