Palos Heights man dies in motorcycle crash in Worth
A Palos Heights man was killed September 21 when the motorcycle he was driving crashed into another vehicle in Worth.
The driver was identified as Nicholas Locasio, 26. A passenger on the motorcycle was injured in the accident. Both were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where Locasio was pronounced dead.
Worth police and paramedics from the North Palos Fire Protection District responded to a call of an accident with injuries around 9:45 p.m. on September 21 at the intersection of 115th Street and Harlem Avenue.
Fire officials said Locasio and his female passenger were both on the ground and CPR was being performed on Locasio, who was unresponsive.
Worth police and the Illinois State Police Traffic Reconstruction Unit are investigating.
