FBI says same robber hit Oak Lawn and Chicago banks

Spread the love

The FBI believes the same masked robber hit a bank in Oak Lawn last week after robbing a bank in Chicago a week earlier.

The FBI said a masked robber hit the U.S. Bank branch at 9401 S. Cicero Avenue at 11:17 a.m. on October 26. Employees told police the man implied he had a gun and made verbal demands. No weapon was displayed.

The FBI believes the same man robbed a BMO Harris branch at 3440 S. Archer Ave. in Chicago at 11:54 a.m. on October 20.

The robber fit the same description in both holdups. He was described as black, in his 20s, about 5-foot, 5-inches tall, with a thin build. In both robberies he was wearing a mask, a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, gloves, dark shoes, and dark sunglasses.
