The charming and tranquil cafe features breakfast and lunch served from an organic menu. Some of the highlighted items include: organic coffee, herbal tea, cold brew, refreshers, delicious snacks and desserts and open-faced egg sandwiches. All food is organic, gluten free, GMO free and chemical free with vegan options available.

Owner Genet Pamphilis, of Palos Park, said she was happy to be located right in the heart of Palos Heights.

“Everyone in the Palos Heights community has been so welcoming,” Pamphilis said. “City officials have been wonderful and so have the residents in making us feel right at home here in Palos Heights. This is the perfect location for us.”

Palos Heights Mayor Bob Straz is very optimistic about the local establishment.

“It’s great to see local businesses create foot traffic for our downtown area,” Straz said. “I have had numerous positive comments about how the area has positively developed from a number from local mayors.”

Pamphilis, of Ethiopia descent, said she was hoping to eventually add some authentic Ethiopian items to the menu by summertime.
