Zofia Szalankiewicz

Zofia Szalankiewicz, 71, née Mietus, of Hickory Hills, died Nov. 12 at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Visitation was held Nov. 14 at Zarzycki Manor Chapels in Chicago. A funeral Mass was held Nov. 15 at St. Camillus Church in Chicago. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.

Mrs. Szalankiewicz is survived by her husband, Boleslaw; her daughters, Beata Ratulowski and Monica Bulawa; her son, Chris; her brother, Stanislaw; her sisters, Ludmila Tylka and Zdzislawa Kaczmarczyk; and nine grandchildren.

Mrs. Szalankiewicz was born in Poland. She worked as a housekeeper.
