Mary Ann Huebner (nee Waraner), age 86, passed away September 4.

Beloved wife of the late Douglas E. Huebner; loving mother of Keith, Kim (Bob) Burch and Cindy Huebner; dear grandmother of Kristen, Melissa, Kevin, Corey, Vinnie, Brenden and Gianna; great grandmother of Haley, Alexis and Melody; dear sister of Annette, the late Stanley and the late Bill. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

InmanARDITH INMAN

Ardith Inman was a longtime educator at Evergreen Park High School

A memorial service was held for Ardith Inman at the First United Methodist Church of Evergreen Park on September 17. She passed away on August 18 at the age of 97.

Ardith was one of less than a dozen teachers hired (physical education) to start Evergreen Park High School in 1954. She also served as Dean (Director of Student Affairs) until her retirement in 1980. She started a scholarship that benefited many students and was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame in 2009.

For over 50 years she was a volunteer at the First United Methodist Church of Evergreen Park serving on publicity, newsletter, chairing almost every committee, organizing fundraisers, singing in the choir, ringing handbells and doing whatever else needed to be done.

Ardith was also a renowned parliamentarian and an officer in the international Parliamentarian Association. She traveled worldwide conducting meetings and teaching her passion.

She was inducted into the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, an honorary society for women teachers, in 1964. She served Beta Beta Chapter and Lambda State President (1983-85), served as International Parliamentarian from 1976-1986 and 1992-2006 and received the International Achievement Award 1988-1990. She served as parliamentarian for many local, state and national organizations. In addition, she was awarded honorary life membership in the Illinois PTA. She enjoyed gardening and travel. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend who shared her gift of knowledge and strength. Her presence benefited numerous local organizations and individuals.

Donations can be made in Ardith’s memory to the First United Methodist Church of Evergreen Park.

STANISLAW KOMPERDA

Stanislaw Komperda, 66, of Chicago Ridge and formerly of Chicago’s Garfield Ridge neighborhood, died September 17.

He was the beloved husband of Danuta (nee Strama); loving father of Krzysztof (fiancée Jolanta Stawiarska) and Jakub Komperda; devoted son of the late Helena (nee Bukowska) and late Stanislaw Komperda; dear brother of Jan Komperda and Zofia (Andrzej) Komperda; fond son-in-law of Maria and late Jan Strama; also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 22, from 4-8 p.m. at Zarzycki Manor Chapels Ltd., 5088 S. Archer Ave., Chicago. Funeral will be Friday, September 23, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home to the Church of St. Bruno. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. \

Beloved wife of Janusz Kozina; loving mother of Marta Goleba; cherished daughter of Stanislawa (nee Szymczyk) and the late Marian Goleba; dear sister of Beata (David) Willy and Malgorzata (Tomasz) Figurski; fond aunt of nieces and nephews; dearest cousin of Iwona Kania; treasured godmother of Angelika Fiedorowicz. Bill P. Williamson, age 59, passed away September 11.

Proceeded in death by 1 day by his father Paul V. Williamson. Bill is survived by his loving Mother, Mary Lou (nee Maniates). He was the devoted and cherished father of Vincent Michael Williamson and Gina Marie Williamson. Bill will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Paul was buried at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery September 14. Friends and family met at the cemetery for Paul’s Committal Service with Military Honors.
